This is phase 1 of a 30 year wave hindcast study that is being developed in 3 phases using the WAVEWATCH III^® model. At this phase the model has conducted a simulation of the 30 year period using the Tolman-Chalikov physics package with 16 regular lat-lon grids and the new NCEP Climate Forecast System Reanalysis Reforecast (CFSRR) homogeneous data set of hourly 1/2° spatial resolution winds, to generate a wave climatology.

Directory of CFSR Reanalysis Hindcast Data
(1979 through 2007, with limited data for 2008 and 2009)

These months only have grib files for ak_4m, ak_10m, glo_30m, med_10m, nsb_4m, nsb_10m, nwio_10m, oz_4m and oz_10m.
