About this product:

The significant wave height is a measure for the wave height, and closely corresponds to what a trained observer would consider to be the mean wave height. Note that the highest wave height of an individual wave will be significantly larger.

Note on the viewer:

The Javascript viewer does not function correctly in Internet Explorer versions 6-8. Alternative browsers in which the viewer does perform correctly include Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, Konqueror, Omniweb, Seamonkey, Camino, others.
