Notes on sea ice map rotation
In generating magnified maps, an automatic rotation is performed. If
you are in the northern hemisphere, and click on a point in the left hand
third of the grid, the magnified image will be rotated 90 degrees
counter-clockwise (the dateline will run up and down). In the right
hand third of the grid, the rotation is 90 degrees clockwise (the
Scandanavian coast will run left-right).
