A selection of maps created from the latest nowcast and forecast model runs are available for the regions shown on the map below. The regions were selected to be in loose agreement with the WaveWatch III subregions.

• Atlantic (100°W to 20°E, 30°S to 80°N)
• Western North Atlantic (100°W to 30°W, 0° to 50°N)
• Western North Atlantic Zoom (100°W to 60°W, 15°N to 45°N)
• Hurricane (100°W to 75°W, 15°N to 30°N)

The list of maps consists of the following:

• Temperatures (°C potential temperature referenced to 2000 dbar pressure level) at the following depths:
  • 0m (surface)
  • 100m
  • 200m
  • 500m
  • 700m
  • 1000m
  • 3000m
• Sea Surface Height (m)
• Mixed Layer Depth (m)
• Salinity (^o/_oo or ppt) at the following depths. Note that the colorbars for the surface salinities are set to a minimum of 30 ppt to reduce the impact of Regions of Freshwater Influence (ROFI) on the mapping colors.

• 100m
• 200m
• 500m
• 700m
• 1000m
• 3000m
• Horizontal Currents (m/sec) -- magnitude only for Atlantic sector, vectors overlaid in subregions at 10 grid point intervals -- at the following depths:

• Vertical Velocities (m/sec) -- at the following depths:
  • 200m
