Hi All,

  There is a 24x7 supported source for the operational products
which you have been getting from ftp to polar.ncep.noaa.gov.  
The operational system is ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov.
It is organized differently than polar is, so we have provided a
translation table at 
  http://polar.ncep.noaa.gov/mmab/translation.html

  If files that should be available (see translation.html) are 
unavailable or ftpprd is unreachable, the address to write is 
SDM@noaa.gov.  

  If you have a question about the contents of the files, the contact 
person remains the same as before, ex: NCEP.EMC.Waves@noaa.gov if it 
is a wave model file you're interested in.
